Angelo Garro, who makes this salt, is a legend in the Bay Area and his recent Kickstarter campaign was a brilliant success.  A blacksmith and forager, he is the wonderful forager who takes Michael Pollan wild boar hunting in the final chapter of his classic book, The Omnivore’s Dilemma.  We adore this salt, sprinkled on meat, fish, or veggies.  Seasoned with wild foraged fennel pollen, air-dried red chiles and fresh cracked black pepper. 6oz
